Skigebiet Cerkno

Cerkno Ski Centre is a family resort with approximately 11 miles of pisted ski runs, suitable for beginners, intermediate and experienced skiers. The ski centre also has snow cannons making artificial snow when needed. For cross country skiers there is approximately 1 mile of pisted tracks. Cerkno ski centre has the fastest, modern lift system in Slovenia with its two six seater chair lifts, two four seater chair lifts, two two seater chair lifts and two t-bar lifts. There are also two conveyor lifts for children and beginners at ski school and ski kindergarden.

At the top of the main lift station there is a beautiful, alpine style self-service restaurant with a large outside terrace and panoramic views all around. On a clear day you can see across to Triglav Mountain the highest peak in Slovenia ( 2,864m). Above the indoor restaurant there is a childrens play area with caves, a slide, small tables and chairs, television and rest area. Second season a SNOW FUN PARK is opened for all adrenalin seekers, including half pipe for snow boarders and acrobatic skiers.
