The Maiszinken skiing area - the beautiful panorama view, the sunny location
high above Lake Lunz and the reasonably priced lift tickets are three of so many reasons
for a family getaway to the Maiszinken skiing area.
Skiers are welcomed by one T-bar lift and three descents of 4.5 km of runs of all difficulty levels.
The magic carpet, a 50 m long conveyor belt free of charge, makes it easy for small children to become familiar with skiing.
Ice skating -in winter, Lake Lunz is mostly frozen over, making it a natural skating ground with a huge surface.
An artificial ice rink is provided in the centre of the town for those who are more tentative.

Der herrliche Panoramablick, sonnige Lage und die preisgünsten Liftkarten hoch über dem Lunzer See sind nur drei Gründe für einen Familienausflug ins Schigebiet Maiszinken.
Der Zauberteppich- ein 50m langes Förderband und "Oskar und Rosi", zwei mit Luft befüllte Würmer, helfen unseren kleinen Gästen das Skifahren auf spielerische Art und Weise zu erlernen- und das sogar kostenlos!!
Die Sonnenalmloipe in einer Länge von 6-15 km, doppelt gespurt (bei geeigneter Schneelage), Eisstockschießen oder Eislaufen für Groß und Klein am Lunzer See (bei geeigneter Eisstärke), oder am Eislaufplatz im Ort, herrliche Angebote für Winter- oder Schneeschuhwanderungen und gut geführte Gasthäuser/Restaurants, laden herzlichst zu einem Besuch und Verweilen ein.
