2865 - Tatranská Polianka - Sliezsky dom

The strongly exposed route is considered difficult and ideal for trained cyclists. You will surmount 718 altitude metres along an asphalt road from Tatranská Polianka, which ascends to the valley of Velická dolina and has a few sharp turns. The route crosses a tourist trail several times so you can rest at covered shelters before setting out for your way up. Once you get above the forest line, you will see the final point of the route. It´s only a couple of metres to reach the mountain hotel Sliezsky dom, located at the foot of Mt. Gerlachovský štít. There you can sit down on a terrace and enjoy a beautiful view and be happy about your performance.
