Ein ganz besonderes Highlight ist heuer der seit langem schon erwartete Kristallbaum am Marktplatz. Tyrol Documentary Filmer Christoph Malin, Member of the famous TWANight.org-Astrophotographer group (National Geographic, ESO, NASA, BBC etc) has produced this spectacular new view on Innsbruck at night and dawn, seen from the surrounding Peaks, Villages and Valleys. „Urban. Mountain. Sky." shows the beautiful, clear starry skies and breathtaking scenery after sunset, that are still to be enjoyed in Tyrol. The Short Film was produced during 8 months with special TimeLapse film techniques using ultra sensitive Cameras, and is based on over 80000 images. Amongst the Objects to be seen in the Film are the Milky Way, Orion, the Plejades, Meteors, Andromeda, Sattelite Flashes, Traffic Streams in the Valleys as well as Aeroplanes on their way over the Alps.

Urban. Mountain. Sky -- ein betörend schöner Sternenhimmel als Teil der wunderbaren Natur Tirols im Spannungsfeld der Urbanität. Der Tiroler Dokumentarfilmer Christoph Malin, Mitglied der berühmten Astrofotografen Gruppe TWANight.org (National Geographic, ESO, NASA, BBC etc) zeigt Innsbruck, die umliegenden Berge, Gipfel, Täler und Gemeinden bei Nacht in neuen, nie dagewesenen Bildern. In acht Monaten mit aufwändiger Zeitraffer Filmtechnik und ultra sensitiven Kameras basierend auf 80000 Bildern produziert, macht dieser Film erstmals die Himmelsphänomene über Innsbruck sichtbar. Zu sehen sind u.a. die Milchstrasse, Orion, die Plejaden, Meteore, die Andromeda Galaxie, Satelliten Blitze, Verkehrsströme in den Tälern und Flugzeuge auf dem Weg über die Alpen.

Patrick Centurioni was born in 1981 in Innsbruck. In 2010 he got his diploma in boilogy at the University of Vienna, Department of animal biodiversity. He published a book called "Wilde Nordkette - Innsbruck aus der Sicht des Steinbocks". The book's aim is to call Innsbruck's ecologically treasures into our consciousness and teach us so to understand the distinctive city in its unique contrast to alpine biodiversity.
