Kitzsteinhorn - Kaprun

From January 2019, the Central Park will excite riders with a set-up where progression and airtime are in the foreground. It will remain open until May and offers several medium-sized kickers to improve your kicker skills, as well as the biggest kicker on the Kitzsteinhorn. More than 15 obstacles from 6- to 20-meter kickers as well as tubes, rails and a wallride wait here. The superpipe will be open from December to May, and with a length of 150 metres and a height of 6.5 metres, it will again be a playground for the best halfpipe professionals in the world. It will once more be shaped by Alli Zehetner, one of the world’s leading pipe specialists, who also built the halfpipe for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Last winter, all three snowboard medal winners of the 2018 Winter Olympics had fine-tuned their skills at the Kitzsteinhorn superpipe: Shaun White (USA), Ayumu Hirano (JPN) and Scotty James (AUS). David Wise (USA), Olympic freestyle skiing champion in the halfpipe, had also practiced his tricks in the Kitzsteinhorn superpipe before winning in Pyeongchang.

February to May is the big hour of the South Central Park. The new park was tested last season and has proved so successful that it is now a permanent fixture. The park section right after the exit of the 6-seater Sonnenkarbahn shines with a playful set-up that allows all motivated park riders to do more obstacles and more runs. In the middle of the ski area, you can now ride a single run from South Central Park to Easy Park to Central Park with up to 20 different obstacles–and start again from the beginning after a single lift ride! The South Central Park’s Jib Line comprises a total of 8 obstacles including tubes and rails.
