.00 km - START - retrace your steps from yesterday and descend from the hut they way you arrived yesterday.
.40 km - Just after crossing the river by way of the wooden bridge (which you crossed yesterday), you will come to a junction in the path. TURN RIGHT onto a faint grassy path which ascends past some old building ruins. Keep your eyes peeled for markers. The path is undulating.
.60 km - Views to the Incles valley on the left open up. Come to another junction of paths, continue STRAIGHT AHEAD, traversing the hillside on an undulating path. Ignore the path which descends to the valley.
.00 km - After descending, come to the valley floor, a picturesque area with a couple of meandering rivers, and there may be sheep grazing. The area is popular with daytrippers as it is easily accessible from nearby towns and villages. Cross the footbridge and river and continue STRAIGHT AHEAD on the path as it ascends gently.
.20 km - BEAR LEFT following signs for 'CABANA SORDA' and keep left (there is a path which goes straight ahead- ignore this one).
.20 km - After a steady ascent, come to a grassy mound. There are lovely views to the valley floor on your left. Continue STRAIGHT AHEAD on the path as it traverses the side of the hill and swings left. Follow the red and yellow markers.
.50 km - Come to an open meadow and the Cabana Sorda (2,295m -bizarrely meaning 'deaf' hut), an unmanned hut. With the hut on your right, BEAR LEFT and walk up to the Sorda Lake. Walk over the dam and follow the path as it ascends steeply and BEARS LEFT.
.90 km - Arrive at an unmarked col, the perfect place for a break! Continue STRAIGHT AHEAD on the path as it begins to descend.
.10 km - Arrive at a grassy bowl at the end of the descent. The path begins to ascend again. BEAR LEFT and continue to follow the path. From here, the path is undulating.
.20km - Arrive at another unmanned hut, Refugi de Coms de Jan (2,215m), where there may be horses grazing. Continue to follow the path STRAIGHT AHEAD, following red and yellow markers.
.30 km - Come to a fork in the path. BEAR RIGHT and continue to ascend, keeping an eye out for markers. The path you can see which descends goes to the valley.
.70 km - Here we recommend a short detour from the official route, the path as described here is a bit easier while not misisng out on the beautiful scenery! However, it is not marked and is a faint grassy path, so to follow it, we recommend using the navigation app to stay on track. Continue STRAIGHT AHEAD on the faint grassy path, ignoring the red and yellow 'x' which tells you that this isn't the official route. If you prefer to take the official route, this is marked with yellow and red paint.
.80 km - Come to a well defined path which has come from the valley, TURN RIGHT onto it and continue to ascend gently. You will soon see a large lake on your left
.20 km - Come to a junction where the official Coronallacs/GRP route meets with the detour route you have followed/ Continue STRAIGHT AHEAD ascending, following the markers for Col de la Minna (Collada del Meners).
.20 km - Arrive at a grassy flat section. TURN LEFT to continue on faint grassy path as it ascends to the col. This turning could be easy to miss, so keep an eye out.
.30 km - Come to an unmanned hut on your left (former miner's hut). Continue STRAIGHT AHEAD, ignoring the path which descends to your right, this path continues to the summit of a nearby peak.
.50 km - Arrive at Col de Mina which is marked by a small cairn and a sign letting you know you are now in the Val Sorteny Nature Park. Enjoy amazing views over the lush green valley. When you are ready to move on, continue STRAIGHT AHEAD descending a long but reasonable descent through initially rocky terrain, then through peaceful fields of wildflowers.
.30 km - The path ascends briefly to reach a small col. From there on it's a rocky descent to a meadow path which brings you to tonight's hut.
