The location of the hotel
THE EDELWEISS is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the beautiful Grossarl Valley. And Großarl in turn is located about 70 km south of the city of Salzburg. Surrounded by 40 alpine pastures and countless kilometers of fantastic hiking trails. DAS EDELWEISS is also located directly at the gondola valley station with direct access to numerous hiking trails and mountain bike routes.

By train:
St. Johann i. Pongau or Bischofshofen or Schwarzach im Pongau train station.
We will pick you up directly from the train station - please let our reception know.

By plane:
Salzburg Airport is only 70 kilometers away from Hotel EDELWEISS. We will gladly pick you up from there.
