Cammino delle 44 Chiesette Votive - Stage 01: Cividale – Tiglio

From Cividale we go up the left bank of the Natisone River along the Alpe Adria Trail. At Purgessimo we leave the Alpe Adria Trail and reach the magnificent ravine of Ponte San Quirino. From here we cross the Natisone River and head toward Vernasso and the small church of San Bartolomeo and then cross the river again to reach San Pietro al Natisone. We continue along the valley floor touching the unexpected little churches of Sorzento and Ponteacco ending the stage in Tiglio.
