This tour takes you along the Berzdorf Lake and through Hagenwerder. Due to the many crossroads it is possible to shorten or extend this route depending on stamina and condition. Different sights can be explored during the tour, among others the bucket-wheel excavator 1452 or the goat enclosure at the headland.
Because of its asphalted ways, Berzdorf Lake is a very popular place for excursions, not only to go jogging, but also to cycle and to skate. Now follow the signposting to Tauchritz past the bucket-wheel excavator. At the roundabout turn right in the direction of the harbour. At the harbour jog to the headland with the goat enclosure. From here you can already see your destination - the hotel.

You will cross the Federal road twice during this tour.
By car, from Görlitz via B99 in the direction of Zittau. In Hagenwerder follow the signposting to the hotel "Insel der Sinne".
From the city centre (e.g. Demianiplatz) take tram line 1 in the direction of "Weinhübel" to the final stop Weinhübel. There take bus line E in the direction of "Blaue Lagune" to the Hagenwerder Bahnhof stop. Then walk towards the lake and the hotel "Insel der Sinne".
By train:
From Görlitz railway station travel in the direction of Zittau to Hagenwerder station. Then walk in the direction of the lake and the hotel "Insel der Sinne".
Paid parking is possible on site.
