You start the tour in Görlitz at the Holy Sepulchre, consisting of Double Chapel of the Holy Cross, the Ointment House and the Sepulchral Chapel. The entire complex is a replica of the most important parts of the large Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, a place of remembrance of the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
From here follow the Oder-Neisse cycle path for about 20 km to Ostritz and the St. Marienthal Convent (Kloster St. Marienthal). The baroque complex of the Cistercian nunnery "Klosterstift St. Marienthal" is an impressive place of faith, where for 770 years Cistercian nuns have lived according to the Rule of Benedict: Ora et labora (pray and work).
Continue cycling to Herrnhut. Herrnhut is the foundation place of the Moravian Church and is internationally known for the production of the Herrnhut Stars and the worldwide missionary work.
Finally, you cycle back to Görlitz via Bernstadt, Schönau-Berzdorf, Pfaffendorf and end your tour at St. Peter's Church. Enthroned above the Neisse River, St. Peter’s Church with its world-famous "Sun Organ" is said to be the landmark of the city.
It is also possible to cycle in two stages.
The tour starts in Görlitz at the complex of the Holy Sepulchre. Cycle through the city to reach the Oder-Neisse cycle path. Follow the Oder-Neisse cycle path in the direction of Zittau.
