Via Ferrata Feliz Navidad

Already the entry is on steel pins over a small roof (E). If you already have problems here, please stop immediately! Continue on pins to the 1st roof (E), secured with 1 bracket. Then continue on pins under the key point = 2nd roof (secured with brackets, but only up to the edge) (E/F). There are NO more hangers on it! Exit on steel pins E/F (on rock 6+)! This is followed by a traverse on the rock on large steel brackets (D) - no rope there. Then vertical on individual steel bars with buffers (D/E) – no rope there either. Crossing to the left and ramp to the right, with brackets (D). This is followed by the optical highlight of the KS: Crossing at Pendulos (D/E) standing on a narrow rock ledge - no rope. After that, grips on the rock are necessary to get under the 3rd roof.

Via ferrata set, helmet, via ferrata gloves, at least 1 short fixation (sling). For people who can abseil: 60 m rope and abseil device for emergency descent. DO NOT rappel on the plastic brackets, which are weakened by abseiling notches!

On the road to the Coll d'Ares, turn off onto a dirt road in the distinctive right-hand bend far before the top of the pass. There is parking a little behind the bend. With 4x4 vehicles you can drive to the Castell de Sant Lorenc (otherwise 1 hour on foot). From the Castell de Sant Lorenc it is another 15 minutes to the entrance. You go to the stone house, follow the arrow in the direction of Corca, past the castle hill in an arc into a ravine (a short scramble; watch out for footprints). Then down at the foot of the wall to the entrance at a board.
Alternatively, you can get on from the parking lot at Corca. From the car park follow the "Cami de Mont-rebel" path until the "Acces via ferrada" path branches off. First continue on the "Acces via ferrada" until it leads into a ravine. In the gorge, partly pathless, continue until you come to a path again. Follow this to get started.

The via ferrata is extremely difficult and due to the fact that it is not secured with steel cables throughout, it should only be attempted by via ferrata experts!
